I have extensive experience as a designer, teacher and Artist. Since 1988 I have been involved in both commercial and private design commission work. I have taught in Australia and Canada. I have conducted workshops for local and regional community workshops.

I have owned and operated my own textile company designing and manufacturing for fashion and interiors.

Since concentrating on painting and drawing I have expanded my range of expression, encompassing life drawing, still life and a more abstract process of enquiry. My intention is to exhibit nationally and internationally.

I work in series, enquiring and experimenting  with the materials and ideas until I get the sense I am after. I never know until a certain point  is reached whether this work has the authenticity I am seeking. It is a dance, I think, between chaos and order, knowing that there is an answer.
